This notice explains what personal information Drink Less Coach™ collects, why, and what your rights are. I've kept it short and in plain English.
Who I am
This site is run by Alastair Cassie, a UK-based alcohol moderation coach. I am responsible for your personal information. If you have any questions, email hello@drinklesscoach.com.
What this site does not do
This site does not use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. If that changes, I'll ask for your consent first and update this notice.
When you contact me
If you email me or book a call through my HubSpot booking page, I receive your name, email address and anything you choose to tell me. I use this only to reply, arrange the call and, if you become a client, to provide coaching.
Information about your drinking
If you tell me about your own drinking, that counts as health information, which UK data protection law treats as particularly sensitive. I keep it confidential, use it only to respond to you or to coach you, and never share it with anyone else.
Why I'm allowed to use your information
- Consent for any information you share about your own drinking. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests for replying to enquiries and keeping this site secure.
- Contract if you become a coaching client.
Who else handles it
I never sell or share your information for marketing. A small number of services handle it on my behalf:
- HubSpot, for contacts, forms, emails and call booking. HubSpot may store data outside the UK under approved safeguards.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site and keeps short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
- My email provider, for messages you send me.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries: up to two years after we were last in touch.
- Client records: for as long as needed to provide coaching and meet legal and insurance requirements.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how I use it, receive a copy to take elsewhere, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@drinklesscoach.com and I'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
